When placing an order please give the exact style number and description of the item(s) you wish to purchase so that we are both sure you are ordering the item(s) that you want. At Christening Essentials, we strive to offer the finest children's garments. Each garment is hand-crafted to exacting standards and must pass through a series of inspections before it reaches you, the customer. Please check the garment carefully before removing any tags or labels. (Items with tags removed cannot be returned). If the item is received damaged, clearly mark problem area(s) with removable tape (or if tape might damage the garment, add a descriptive note) to help us quickly identify the problem you have detected. In the case of damage during shipping, please be sure to keep all packaging as it may be needed by the shipper. Notify us within 48 hours of receipt of goods via email or phone (602) 370-3312. The defective item will be replaced at no cost to you. If you choose to return the item for a refund rather than a replacement, it will be treated as a simple return for refund and you will incur a 15% restocking fee and you will be responsible for the return shipping.
Wear an Tear: Refunds will NOT be issued for items that have been worn, washed, spit-up on, stained or otherwise damaged from use. We are not responsible for improper care and handling of the product. If an item has been damaged by a dry cleaner, then the dry cleaner is responsible for that damage. ITEMS WITH TAGS REMOVED CANNOT BE RETURNED.
ALL Returns require a Return Authorization Number (RA #) and unless a mistake has been made on our part, the return is subject to a 10% restocking fee, due to the extra labor involved in inspecting and restocking your item, plus the original freight charges. Return freight is the responsiblilty of the consumer. If a return is required due to an error on our part, a restocking fee is not charged. Do not return any items until you receive an RA number. E-mail us within 7 days of receipt of goods for an RA number (include reason for return). Please notify us right away if you need to return an item (returns must be received within 15 days of issuance of an RA # - no returns accepted after 30 days). If we are not notified of a return within the required 7 days your return may be refused or if accepted will incur a 15% restocking fee. We reserve the right not to accept any returns without an RA number. Any item returned without an RA number, may be refused or if accepted be subject to a 25% restocking fee to cover the additional time and effort to process the return. Any items returned to us with customer caused damage may be refused or if accepted be subject to a restocking fee (% to be determined according to the extent of the damage). It is very important when shipping back goods to be sure to carefully re-package appropriately so no damage will occur enroute back to us. An RA number is valid for 15 days only. After 15 days the RA number is automatically voided, and your return will not be accepted and no credit will be issued. ITEMS WITH TAGS REMOVED CANNOT BE RETURNED.
Caution: Packages returned to our shipping center rather than the address sent to you with your return authorization will need to be forward to our receiving center which is at a different location. We incur additional shipping cost to forward your return to our center. A flat rate equal to ground shipping charges will be deducted from your refund to cover the extra shipping cost.
All Clearance and Closeout items are final sale. Please make your selection carefully as the styles offered in this category are only available in the sizes listed and are non-returnable except in the case of fabric or workmanship flaws.
Personalized items may only be returned if they are defective, or we have made an error in spelling. These items will be fixed or replaced. We do not offer refunds on personalized items. Please be sure of spelling and dates before you make your order as items that have errors due to a mistake in ordering will not be accepted for a refund or exchange. In the event of an error on our part, e-mail us within 2 days of receipt of item and we will make arrangements for a replacement.
Need to make an exchange for a different size or style? E-mail us with any exchange request within 48 hours of receipt of goods. Unless an order for a replacement is placed at the time the RA is issued your exchange is subject to a 10% restocking fee. Please be sure and check our sizing charts before placing your order. A Christening Essentials Authorization (RA) number is required for all exchanges. Shipping charges will be refunded only for errors made by Christening Essentials. You are responsible for shipping charges for the replacement items.

ENCLOSE YOUR RA NUMBER and return the item(s) within 15 days of the date the RA number was issued. An RA number is valid for 15 days only. After 15 days the RA number is automatically voided, and your return will not be accepted and no credit will be issued. In order to receive the most credit possible when returning items, please include all the items in a set, i.e., hangers, slips, booties, hat, etc. which go with the returned outfit. Please return items carefully packaged in original shipping box. It is very important when shipping back goods to be sure to carefully re-package appropriately so no damage will occur enroute back to us. Do not stuff in an envelope as this ruins the garments and they will not be accepted. We will return the items to you and no credit will be issued. If garment returned to us shows any signs of being worn, no credit will be issued.
Upon receipt of your shipment to us, please allow three (3) working days to review your findings and where appropriate, issue a credit. It is not uncommon to take one (1) week for your shipment to arrive to us. Your credit should be finalized within two weeks after you return goods to us.
We understand that some times you wish to look at several items or consider more than one size. However, this can cause us to be out of stock for the next customer. For this reason and for the additional service involved, ordering multiple stock Christening gowns, outfits and/or accessories and returning some will be subject to a 10% restocking fee. Maximum of 4 items in each catagory allowed.
Please understand that we are human and humans sometimes make mistakes. In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to typographical error or error in pricing or product information, Christening Essentials shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. Christening Essentials shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, Christening Essentials shall issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the charge. Additionally, we will work with you to correct any issue due to these errors if your order has already shipped.
